Well keep you posted as we learn more about Berg and as he makes his way to Missouri. Heres what we know so far:

Name: Berg
Gender: Male
Breed: Shepherd
Color: White
Age: 3 years old
Weight: 75 lbs

Berg came into the shelter as a stray on June 13th, and sadly, no one ever came looking for him. He was set to lose his life yesterday. But thankfully, his story doesnt end there!

During his time at the shelter, Berg has participated in several playgroups. He seems to prefer smaller groups and one-on-one time, especially with his kennel mate. He is social with the staff, walks well on a leash, and already knows his sit command. Such a good boy!

Now comes the important part...

Berg does NOT need to go to boarding when he arrives in Missouri. What he needs is a foster or, even better, his forever family!

We want to have a plan in place for this handsome boy when he arrives, so lets get those applications in!

Who is ready to give Berg the fresh start he deserves? His forever family could be YOU!

https://journeyhomegsd.org/
