Beowulf's Story
Please Note: applicants must have significant breed experience (as an adult) to be considered as an adoption candidate for Beowulf. Please read his entire "bio" and requirements before applying.

Beowulf is a young GSD puppy that was left to his own devices and will need someone willing to teach him boundaries and behaviors fitting a dog of his breeding. He is a smart boy with a will to please and is looking to make a connection with someone. He is friendly and outgoing. He is the quintessential GSD in looks, temperament, and personality. Beowulf is "mouthy" and a large dog at only seven months of age. He is expected to top out well over 100 pounds.

Unless the applicants have significant training experience, he will not be placed in a home with small children. At this time we know he is friendly with other dogs, but do not have any knowledge of how he will be with cats.

If you are interested in welcoming Beowulf to your home, please check out the Adoptions Process page. Beowulf will have a training requirement as part of his adoption contract. Contract with trainer must be signed prior to or at time of adoption. Training with Melissa Pink in Alexandria, VA or Karen Decker in Columbia, MD. Beowulf's adoption fee will be $450.00.
