Benz's Story

Meet Benz...
Benz is a 65-pound senior pup with a soft white-and-tan coat and an even softer heart. He may enter a room a little unsure at first, taking in the world at his own pace—but give him a moment, and you’ll start to see the sweet, gentle soul underneath. Benz is all about the quiet joys in life: a cozy spot to relax, kind people nearby, and a good cuddle (his specialty). While he can feel a bit anxious in new situations, he forms strong connections and clearly has a favorite-people radar—once you’re in his circle, he’ll happily seek out your affection. In his previous home, Benz lived with young children and was known for being patient, loving, and incredibly gentle. He’s also lived with another large dog in the past and has shown he can coexist peacefully, though these days he seems content doing his own thing and keeping interactions low-key. He’s not much for toys or high-energy play, preferring instead to observe, sniff around, and enjoy calm companionship. Think of him as your laid-back best friend—the kind who just wants to be near you, no matter what the day brings. Benz’s story is all about comfort, kindness, and connection. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a heart of gold, Benz might just be your perfect match.

This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition!
