Bentley CL's Story

Bentley.
Almost 4yrs old and was saved almost 3yrs ago.
Boerbol- so experience needed.
Dude is 95lbs and 50% derpy dork and 50% badass.
He will work a fence and protect it like no ones business and has a bark and alert, that can rid any home of the need for a security system. Seriously! Its intense!
However, he also loves to play, romp and snuggle on the couch.
He is kennel trained, but otherwise, needs training. Hates leashes and struggles a bit on walks but is slowly getting better. He pancakes getting into a car, but is ok once hes assisted in?.
Never thought hed be waiting so long to be adopted so didnt work with him as much on training as should. Everyone just loves him. Lol.
He likes dogs as long as properly introduced.
He will try to "man up" to male dogs, but that has always been resolved with me working with him in that moment. I will say he's never done it to a female dog or a dog smaller than him.
He did go on 2 meet n greets to homes with other dogs and cats and did fine, but both homes decided to adopt doggos and not poor Bentley. So he has continued to wait.
He does get frequent ear infections due to the heavy floppy ears.
We've said no small kids because of his size and his lack of training. Hes just too much of a happy dork for Littles.
Hes also a favorite at the vet office and is vetted.
Overall, he is sensitive and sweet.
