Yay!!! Bentley has a pending adoption! After almost 100 applicants with many wonderful homes we narrowed down to one terrific home! Thank you all for you interest! Thank you for looking to rescue for your canine companion!<br/><br/>Meet Bentley; A handsome very silly and outgoing purebred Havanese chocolate sable male with green eyes. Bentley is being rehomed because the Senior English Bulldog in his previous home did not like him (or any other dogs). Bentley handled the situation well but it just was not a happy household for him. He is very outgoing, loving and playful so the family chose to rehome him since he is so young and lovable. He gets along great with children and pets. He has been crate and doggy door trained. He knows basic commands such as sit, off, no bark. He would greatly benefit with continued training. He has been neutered, microchipped, heart worm and internal/external parasite free, and is current on vaccinations. Havanese are rare breeds that are great for families with allergies since they do not shed nor have the doggy dander that most canines have. He has a summer cut but has a very handsome thick coat once grown out. I have pictures of him in full coat and in his summer cut. He is around 8 lbs and is expected to be in the 8-10 lb range at maturity. He is only 10 months old! This is a rare opportunity!<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $650. Adoption application required! We understand that our application is more geared toward Bulldog breeds but please bare with us and answer each question with the Havanese breed in mind. Bentley is located in South Houston TX. Preference is to local in person adoption but we are open to out of State/Area adoptions. Shipping options are available. Delta Pets First program would be $450 or you can fly into HOU Hobby airport and pick him up in person & fly back with him. Southwest usually has great prices and can be done in one day round trip. Approved application, reference check and home visit required. (If out of state we will arrange for a volunteer in your area to perform the home visit or possibly accept face time and/or pictures of home, yard, fence etc.) Please submit a completed application and we will be happy to speak with you about Bentley. <br/><br/>Once Bentley has a pending home lined up we will promptly change his listing.
