I bond deeply with my humans and love being close to my friends. When people leave, I do get a little sad because I love very hard. Belly rubs, playtime, and quality time are my absolute favorites, and I'll happily soak up all the love you're willing to give.<br/><br/>I'm a very good listener and already know all my commands like sit, down, stay, and leave it. Showing off my smarts is one of my talents. I'm also crate trained, potty trained, and house trained, so I already know how to be a polite house guest.<br/><br/>I do great with big dogs, small dogs, and older kids (15+). I can forget just how big I am when I get excited, so a home without small children would be best. I get along well with both small and large dogs. I'm friendly and know how to coexist nicely, but if I'm being honest? I don't need a dog sibling. I'd much rather have my person all to myself. I really thrive when I can bond closely with my human and soak up all the love and attention.<br/><br/>I'd thrive in a home with or without a yard, and I really need a family that's around most of the day. I have some abandonment anxiety, so having someone home often would mean the world to me.<br/><br/>I'm still working on a few things. Sometimes I pull on the leash, jump when I get overly excited, and I can be a little protective of my toys. With consistency, patience, and love, I know I'll keep improving.<br/><br/>A quick note from my foster: I have early-stage hip dysplasia.
