Bentley's Story
Bentley A187019
48 lb. neutered male, approx 5 years old

-He may be a little older, but this guy still has plenty of spunk and playfulness left to share! He absolutely loves toys of all kinds and enjoys entertaining himself, though every now and then he'll bring one over to include you in the fun.

-He's also a fan of treats, happily sitting and taking them nicely. He seems to know "down" too, and at one point looked like he might even have a "shake paw" up his sleeve! He walks nicely on leash with just some minor pulling and has a great foundation to build on.

-Overall, he's a fun, sweet older gentleman with a playful spirit who just needs a little polishing around the edges. He's got lots of good manners already and plenty of life and love left to give!

-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30.

**We ask that if you're looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog.

**1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
