Bentley

Bentley is around 3 years old very special shitzu boy. He went through a lot in his life and it took us some time to help this unique boy on the right path. He used to be very grumpy and anti social, but we realized it was due to a medical reason. Bentley had a retinal detachment in his left eye, causing a lot of trouble with his behavior. Our amazing vet team had his left eye successfully removed and Bentley is adjusting very well into being a sweet, handsome one eye dog. He loves to roam around the house like a king and loves his foster parents and siblings. At first, Bentley can be little shy, anti social and bit grumpy, therefore he needs a very specific adopter. Preferably someone with bit of a patience who would be willing to give this boy bit of a space to adjust into a new home. Bentley can be very sweet companion, who loves to go out on walks, but doesn't like to be approached by strangers. He absolutely loves car rides. He does well with other dogs as long as they give him space and are not too much in his face. Pretty much same applies to humans. He is the sweetest and most loving dog, but he needs to come to you on his own terms. Therefore he would be great as a companion for adults, definitely no young children who would not be able to understand that he simply doesn't like to be bothered. Most funny thing about him is, that he is very specific about his doggy bed, he only likes certain type. Besides that, he absolutely loves to sleep on the chairs because in a way he can hide and at the same time have the best view of everything and everyone. Bentley can be bit vocal, therefore he would do better in the house rather than an apartment .<br/>DOB 4/2022 - 14lbs<br/><br/>Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip.
