Bentley's Story
At 5 years old and about 60lbs, Bentley is the kind of dog who doesn’t rush into things—and honestly, he thinks you shouldn’t either. Life is better at a calm, cozy pace, and Bentley is here to remind you of that every single day.

This sweet pittie mix can be a little reserved at first. New places and people? He’d prefer to take a moment (or a few) to observe, process, and decide everything is safe. But once he starts to feel comfortable, you’ll see the real Bentley shine through—and it’s absolutely worth the wait. His favorite way to show affection? Gently leaning his whole self into you like a 60lb weighted blanket and quietly asking for pets. It’s basically a hug.

Bentley has lived with kids before and would be happy to have some again, especially if they understand that he likes to ease into things at his own pace. Think calm hangouts, soft pets, and low-key playtime rather than chaotic zoomies right off the bat.

He’s done well with other dogs and may even be able to live with cats or bunnies, as long as introductions are slow and respectful—just how Bentley likes it. He’s all about good vibes and polite company.

Out on walks, Bentley is an absolute gentleman. His leash manners are top-notch, making strolls together peaceful and enjoyable. He’s the perfect companion for quiet neighborhood walks and taking in the world one sniff at a time. And when the mood strikes, he’ll bless you with a soulful howl—his own special way of sharing his feelings with the world.

Bentley does have some allergies and is currently eating Derm Complete food to help keep his skin feeling its best. With the right care, he’s happy, comfortable, and ready to settle into his forever home.

If you’re looking for a loyal, soft-hearted companion who will form a deep bond with you (and lean on you—literally), Bentley might just be your guy. He’s not in a rush… but he is ready for love.
