Bentley's Story

Bentley is a 4.5 year old, 53 lbs Boxer/Black Mouth Cur mix.

Bentley is located in Texas and will be transported to his new home.

This big boy is Bentley. Bentley has a bit of a sad tale to tell... he was adopted as a pup and lived several years with his family, before they moved and had to rehome him. He then went to a home with kids and a dog his size, and was very happy and loved by everyone, but they learned he was toy reactive, so he ended up back at his original foster home. Bentley is a sweet and playful boy, he's fun and happy and also opinionated and a grump at bedtime. He loves kids and enjoys the company of other dogs (we have plenty of videos of him playing with them) but he has shown strong toy reactivity so it's best if kids are old enough to not have toys laying around. As for dogs, he would be fine with a dog who is neutral or on the submissive side. He really enjoys a dog's company, but he is the type that wants all the toys for himself. He had gotten plump due to a lack of activity, but is now looking good and does well on a leash, and loves to go on long walks or hikes. He's fun and playful and just needs to find the right home for him, with someone who is a strong leader and experienced with dogs. He truly is not a "difficult dog" but he has moved twice and needs stability in his life in order to relax and let his short hair down.

Faith and Hope only adopts within the United States and Canada.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. He has all age appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and is neutered. His adoption donation is $500 and includes the transportation fee.

If interested in learning more, please email us at faithandhopeadoptions@gmail.com or fill out our online application.

https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp

If you are interested in learning more about our adoptable pets, the adoption process, or our home based foster program, please contact us at the above email.

Due to the number of requests that we receive on our adoptable pets, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received.
