Benson's Story
AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Benson! Benson is a 5 month old male French Bulldog puppy and he weighs about 12 pounds. He is still a growing puppy though and will get bigger. Benson arrived in rescue when his previous owner was unable to keep him. Benson is a "fluffy" Frenchie and came from a pet store (from a puppy mill breeder). "Fluffy" Frenchies are essentially a mutation and can come with some genetic issues. Benson does have some mild vision issues as a result. He can see, but not always "clearly" so he can be hesitant when in new surroundings as he gets the "lay of the land" so to speak. Frenchies do tend to be a medically expensive breed to own though, and previous Frenchie experience is highly preferred. He is a very sweet boy though and is ready to find a forever family up for all things puppy - including house training, leash training and continued socialization. His foster mom says: Benson is an active playful pup who loves to be outside with us. He enjoys sunning himself or just munching on sticks or twigs or leaves (we take them away as quick as he can gather them though, lol!) He is content to spend his day snoozing in the office with his foster mom while she works. He does snore (typical Frenchie) and it can be loud. LOL Benson gets along well with other dogs but is not a big sharer when it comes to his food. He is not a big barker and typically only barks when playing.

Benson is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Benson is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $550. If you are interested in applying to adopt Benson, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
