Benny's Story
Benny and the Jets? Nah. Benny wants the pets!

Benny is a 1 year old terrier mix looking for a forever home (and maybe an Elton John cover band made up of other dogs).cBenny’s your typical young dog with lots of playful energy. Some of his favorite ways to utilize all that energy are walks, playing fetch, and playing with other dogs and with kids. He does very well with other dogs aside from a little barking when he first meets new dogs. He’s young and excited to meet new friends. With some help he’ll likely be a model canine citizen soon enough.

He’d probably do well with a patient dog in the home who will help him learn those distinguished doggy manners. In his foster home his current furry foster sibling has been helping him learn that some activities are not welcome and he’s learning from those corrections. He responds well to corrections from both people and other dogs.

Benny doesn’t love cats though. Cats scare him and he’d much rather keep his distance from them. That doesn’t mean he can’t live with them it just means if you have a cat who desperately wants a canine best friend Benny may not be agreeable to that arrangement!

Benny’s potty trained with an accident free record in his foster home. He’s been working on crate training and does very well with it. He’s quiet in his crate and can spend an extended period of time in there without issue if needed.

If you think Benny may be right for you, please apply today to meet with him.

Benny's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: his alter, a microchip, his rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think he may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Churchville, NY.
