Meet Benny!<br/><br/>He and his brother Jazz were picked up by a traveling nurse who watched them get dropped out of a truck ahead of her on a country road in rural Kentucky. They wouldn't have survived very long otherwise. <br/><br/>We squeezed them in here at the farm, and they got big fast! Jazz has already been adopted and now Benny is looking for his family!<br/><br/>Benny has a terrific older puppy personality; he's funny and rambunctious at playtime but settles down quickly for belly rubs and affection. His DNA test shows Husky, Lab, German Shepherd and Pit bull, which will make him a great family dog with kids of all ages. <br/><br/>Benny is comfortable in a crate, sits on command, and walks on a leash without pulling, all of which took very little training! His few socialization trips to Tractor Supply and Lowes have been phenomenal; he's confident and curious, and follows his foster mom like a well-trained older dog. This pup will be a joy to work with for even a novice handler.<br/><br/>Benny hasn't been to the foster house yet so he'll need housetraining, but he's so smart and attentive and eager to please, we are certain he'll catch on quick!<br/><br/>He's familiar with all the barn cats and hasn't shown aggression, so with proper introductions we think he'll be chums with any resident cats.<br/><br/>Benny comes fully vetted with all vaccinations, preventative meds, neutered and microchipped. We can send a crate home with him also, to ensure his successful integration into your household. <br/><br/>This handsome, cheerful pup needs a home with a yard and kids or other dogs to play with.
