The process may include a veterinary reference check, phone interview, and home check to ensure the dog is a good fit for the household. Approved applicants participate in a meet-and-greet with the dog before adoption. We carefully consider the needs of both the dog and adopter to create successful, lifelong matches. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, age-appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, and receive necessary medical care before adoption. Adopters must sign an adoption contract and agree to provide proper care and veterinary treatment throughout the dog's life.
