He is mostly leash trained and crate trained, and seems to be housetrained as long as he is taken out on a regular schedule. This sweet boy's most favorite thing in the world to do is to play with another playful dog, so we are wanting a playmate for him, as well as a fenced yard to run and play in. He hasn’t been in our rescue very long, and so far has not been interested in toys. Benji is heartworm positive at this time, and is on the slow kill protocol, which we can explain that process to any interested applicant. He can enjoy regular activities. Heart worm disease is contracted from an infected mosquito and cannot be transmitted to another dog.
