Benji

Benji is the cutest. He is friendly, fairly laid back, and and an overall gem. He has been good with other dogs, not a barker, is a snuggler, and an easy keeper for his foster! Benji is around 1-2 years old and around 23lbs. He was found stray, and landed in a high kill shelter. We were happy to welcome this deserving boy into rescue. He has a calming yet fun energy, and enjoys human attention and playing with toys!! <br/>Benji’s bio:<br/>-age appropriate energy, but more on the calm/mellow side, is happy go lucky and happy to play with other dogs, good on walks, fun and friendly<br/>-great with other dogs in his foster home and every dog he’s met in the shelter, out around town and at foster friends’ homes<br/>-likes to be around people but fine when left home alone while foster works, too<br/>-potty trained in current setting <br/>-good on leash <br/>-does well in his kennel or gated area/dog room when foster is at work<br/>-enjoys toys, treats and chew bones <br/>-enjoys lounging in the yard and on his dog bed as well as playtime in the yard, likes to explore <br/>-will make a great companion, and a great walking/adventure/car ride buddy to a lucky family <br/>-does well so far on car rides to his vet appointments and errands with his foster <br/>-did great for his grooming/bath <br/>-is up to date on vaccines, neutered, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives, and microchipped <br/>-***will require routine, yearly grooming so an adopter with an already established/current or previous grooming reference is required <br/>***If interested in learning more about the adoption process for Benji and seeing some videos of him, please call or text Brittany at 2037276625, thank you!
