Introducing Benji, a gorgeous mini schnauzer with a great attitude and energy to spare. You’ll find he’s up for absolutely anything and is an eager companion for any escapade.<br/> At age four, this lad is a sturdy 21 pounds of fun wrapped in a curly silver-gray coat. He has natural ears and a cropped tail that spins like a whirligig when he’s happy, which is most of the time. His favorite activity is being by your side, preferably with your full attention. Benji knows sit and catch, loves car rides, and is doing well on leash as he learns it isn’t necessary to report every moving object to his handler. He’s neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, crate trained and house trained.<br/> While he gets along fine with female dogs, he needs to be the only male dog in the household. He’d be happiest in a home with a yard he can patrol and someone who is home most of the time; he also needs regular walks. Since he can occasionally get underfoot, he won’t be placed with small children or anyone with uncertain balance.<br/> Benji currently lives in a foster home in Las Cruces, NM.
