Meet Benji! This happy little guy is looking for his forever home and he can’t wait to meet his people.<br/>Benji is only 10 months old and is almost 10lb. He’s a solid little boy, and his background is anyone’s guess- Parson Russel Terrier? Jack Russel? Chihuahua mix? A true Heinz-57, the best of all worlds..<br/><br/>Benji is a friendly, playful boy. He has a medium energy level – he’s always happy to go for a walk or have a romp in the backyard, but he’s also calm in the house and happy to relax and look out the window. He has lived with children and is calm and gentle. <br/><br/>Benji has had some upheaval in his life and is looking for stability. He is wonderful with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a slightly older dog who can serve as a role model and be a playmate. He does bond with his people and can be nervous for a few minutes when meeting new people, but he is always gentle, and that anxiety is already improving with basic socialization and watching how his doggy friends react. <br/><br/>Benji is a smart boy, and is eager to learn and please. Although he doesn’t know many basic obedience skills (sit, stay, etc.), he is responsive when corrected and will learn quickly. He is starting to work on house-training, but it’s going step by step.<br/><br/>Benji is going to make a wonderful addition to any family.
