Benji's Story
Meet Benji (aka Benjean), a super sweet ~2 year old spayed female small terrier mix, weighing about 17 lbs! Benji came in with Mamacita and her puppies and is looks a lot like her, we think she is likely her sister.

Benji came from a neglectful situation, but she has really blossomed and is enjoying a taste of love and affection! She is now being fostered in CT and is ready to find a furever home of her own!

She is good with other dogs, people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats.

From Benji's current foster:

"Benji is the cutest thing. She behaves younger than 2, she has very puppyish behavior. Benji is wicked smart!! She learns commands fast, found all the gaps in my fence that needed repairing () and needs constant mental exercise. For such a young dog, I'm impressed that she has not had any accidents in the house. Bonus, she is also a great snuggler."

She is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. A 100% good doggo! Apply to meet this darling girl today!

Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
