Benji's Story

MEET BENJI — A HANDSOME BLUE-EYED BOY LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!

Benji is a stunning 5-year-old Siberian Husky with a gentle soul and so much love to give.

After a difficult start, Benji is now thriving in long-term foster care and doing wonderfully on his seizure medication. His foster family describes him as easygoing, affectionate, and wonderful with people, dogs, and even cats!

He loves walks with his canine foster sibling, lounging on his bed, watching TV, keeping an eye on passing cars, and being your quiet work-from-home buddy. He’s also an enthusiastic kitchen assistant who never wants to miss what’s happening with the snacks!

Benji does have anxiety, especially when things are uncertain or unpredictable. He does best with structure, consistency, and a stable home. He has worked with a behaviorist/trainer and has made great progress.

His seizures are a manageable condition, and he simply needs a responsible family committed to keeping him on his medication and providing the stability he needs.

Husky experience is preferred. Underneath Benji’s anxiety is an incredibly loving, loyal and special dog who just needs to feel safe.

After everything he has been through, Benji deserves a forever home where he will be safe, loved, understood, and never given up on again.

Interested in Benji?
