Benito's Story

Meet Benito this cute and fluffy one and half year old pup who is a huge a lover. He was surrendered to us in Baja in July of 2022 with his friend Kira, who is also available for adoption. Currently Benito is playing with his pals and soaking up the sun at our shelter in La Paz. Benito loves to engage with his friends at our shelter and is in our large friendly dog group, however we are recommending a home without an alpha male dog and without small animals such as cats or ferrets. Benito does well with small hoomans and hasn't met a person he doesn't like. He loves to investigate everything and is good listener when you tell him to leave it and give space. Benito is not shy and wants to be friends with everyone and sniff all the doggos. We think he will adjust well to a PNW lifestyle and make an amazing explorer companion, and we know he will just love his first pupcup. Benito currently weighs about 60lbs and is very long haired fluffy husky mix, he will need someone who is dedicated to living a husky lifestyle when it comes to hair and personality traits - talking, needs to sniff everything, lots of pets, the normal husky traits.

Benito can come the PNW whenever he has a home to go to, foster or adopter. We are typically able to ensure the dogs arrival within 10 - 15 days of adoption.

Benito’s adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $450USD.
This helps us cover most of his vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.
