Benito is slated to arrive in Rhode Island the week of 10/25 by way of Houston, TX, where he was pulled from a high intake shelter and placed directly into foster care. Approximately six years old, he is adorable to look at and a mix of breeds....we can see possible Jack Russell and Beagle, but in build also some Corgi and he does have a bit of Pembroke personality. We are still getting to know him, but he is a very friendly boy who approaches things with enthusiasm, but also is fine with curling up and snoozing in his settled middle age of life. Adorable, he is for someone looking for a fun dog, for he surely is that. Approximately 18 lbs and all set to go to his forever home :) Southpaws is proud to maintain its adoption fee at $450, but we unfortunately cannot adopt to residents of Massachusetts and New Hampshire due to state restrictions there.
