Meet Benedict Benny <br/><br/>Benny is the kind of puppy that quietly steals your heart. With his soft folded-over floppy ears, soulful eyes, and gentle personality, he has a sweetness about him thats impossible to miss. At just a few months old, hes already showing what an incredibly loyal and loving companion hes going to become.<br/><br/>Benny is one of the bigger puppies in his litter, but we still anticipate he will stay around 50 lbs full grown the perfect midsize family dog who can keep up on adventures but still curl up right beside you at the end of the day.<br/><br/>He has a tender, observant nature and is the type of dog who forms deep bonds with his people. Benny may take a minute to warm up in new situations, but once he feels safe, his affectionate and goofy side comes pouring out. He loves playing with his siblings and other dogs, but he's also perfectly content simply laying nearby and soaking up love and reassurance. There is something incredibly special and emotionally intuitive about him.<br/><br/>Benny loves all dogs, kids, and people, and he inherited his mamas incredible temperament. He thrives around companionship and truly enjoys being part of the pack. He hasn't been introduced to cats yet, but given his calm and easygoing nature, we believe he would likely adjust well with proper introductions.<br/><br/>Benny was born with a very common genetic condition called entropion, where the lower eyelids roll slightly inward causing the hair to rub against the surface of the eye. Left untreated, it can become uncomfortable over time, so we made sure Benny received corrective surgery early. He did wonderfully, is healing beautifully, and this will not impact his quality of life or day-to-day in any way moving forward. It was a quick corrective procedure, and he is expected to live a completely normal, happy life.<br/><br/>Benny is one of 8 siblings rescued alongside their incredible mama just before a winter storm hit Houston. We knew we couldn't leave them out there facing those conditions, and we are endlessly grateful they made it to safety. Their mom has one of the best temperaments we've ever seen, and every puppy in this litter reflects that same loving, stable personality.<br/><br/>He is crate trained, doing great with potty training, and learning all the basics of becoming a well-mannered pup.
