Meet Benedict.<br/><br/>Benedict is an adorable 1–2 year old Havanese who is about as sweet as they come. He has a playful little energy and is still figuring out this new thing called freedom. Everything is exciting right now. The yard, the smells, the toys, the whole world really.<br/><br/>Benedict came from a puppy mill, so he’s learning that life can actually be pretty great. Because of that, he will need a family who understands that he’s still learning to trust people and the world around him. Patience and kindness will go a long way with this little guy, and watching his confidence grow is really special.<br/><br/>He sleeps through the night in his crate and is quickly catching on that all potty business happens outside. He’s also starting to get the hang of walking on a leash and is very enthusiastic about exploring everything around him.<br/><br/>He loves other dogs and would enjoy a dog friend, but he’d also be perfectly happy as an only dog as long as he has people to love.
