Ben Black and Tan Coonhound & Coonhound Mix Sparta, NJ

Ben is a little on the shy side, but warms up quickly. His sweet nature has made him a favorite of the shelter staff! On quiet days, Ben can be found keeping the office staff company or get extra playtime with the staff. Ben is a happy boy who loves to run and play. He is learning how to sit on command and likes to play fetch with a stick. Ben would love to find a family who will spend time with him going on walks and/or a yard to romp around in. He is very well behaved when he goes to adoption events and loves being petted by people and kids. Ben is a handsome boy who prefers female dogs and is not a fan of cats. Ben is about 1-2 years and 50 pounds. Please help Ben find the loving home he deserves.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

3.Adoption contract & adoption fee Ben's adoption fee is $350. This also covers all age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, vetting & microchipping.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day.
