Ben's Story

Meet Ben!

Ben is a 5-6 month old Lab mix who weighs 40lbs. We expect his adult weight to be around 60-80lbs.

Ben has really opened in his foster home after being scared in the shelter. He LOVES other dogs and they really bring him out of his shell. It is recommended that Ben go to a home with another dog.

Ben loves toys, especially the rubber kong toys he can chew on!

Ben is an adventurous boy, he loves to use his sniffer to see whats out there!

Ben does not walk on a leash. He is very timid and he will need to be taught to walk on a leash.

Ben is doing really well with his crate training! He sleeps all night in his crate and stays out during the day with his foster family. He does take an occasional nap during the day in the crate.

As far as potty training, Ben has always went potty outside because that is where he lived….so he’s used to going outside. We cannot say he’s potty trained yet, but he hasn’t had an accident in his foster home so far.

Ben has an adoption fee of $250.

His fee includes his neuter, vaccines, negative heartworm testing, microchip, deworming and he is up to date on his heartworm, flea and tick prevention!

Fill out an application on our website at sianimalrescue.org.

https://sianimalrescue.org/adoption-app
