I might look like I've got a lot going on in my kennel, but take me outside and you'll see a whole different side of me.<br/><br/>My name is Bellinger, and I've been here since 2/19/2026 after coming from Animal Friends of the Valley. Inside my kennel, I can get a little excited and try to grab your attention, but once I'm out with you, everything settles. I walk nicely on leash, stay confident in new spaces, and really focus in on the person I'm with.<br/><br/>With people, I'm affectionate and easy to connect with. I like being near you, checking in, and just spending time together. I already know how to sit, and I might even have some house manners under my belt too.<br/><br/>Around other dogs, I'm pretty flexible. I can play when the energy is right, including more active, rough-and-rowdy moments, but I'm just as comfortable keeping things neutral and doing my own thing. I don't need constant interaction to be content.<br/><br/>My energy is balanced. I can be playful and active, but I also know how to settle and just enjoy being out and about with you. That shift you see from kennel to outside really shows who I am once I'm comfortable.<br/><br/>If I had to ask for anything, it would just be someone who understands that kennel energy doesn't tell the whole story.
