Since then, she’s been decompressing and learning that life can be calm, safe, and full of love.<br/><br/>Belle is a gentle, shy girl who takes a little time to warm up—but once she does, she forms a deep bond with her person and becomes a true “shadow dog.” She loves to stay close and will quietly follow you from room to room, happiest just being near you.<br/><br/>She is dog-friendly and would do best with calm, well-mannered dogs who respect her space and help her build confidence. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between pets and families. It starts with an online application, followed by a review of references and (if applicable) landlord approval. We then arrange a meet-and-greet or home visit to make sure everyone is comfortable. Once approved, adopters sign an adoption agreement, pay an adoption fee (which helps cover vetting and care), and take their new pet home knowing it’s been fully vetted and loved. We’re here to support adopters before, during, and after adoption to set everyone up for success.
