Newton's first law of motion states that an object in motion will stay in motion. PHS is pretty sure this law applies to Belle. Once Belle gets going, she doesn't like to stop. She can be one intense dog. However, Belle has already shown PHS just how smart she is. Since arriving, Belle has quickly picked up on commands such as "leave it". We believe with a patient teacher, Belle will make a quick learner and the goodest girl.

Belle tends to obsess over toys. With a toy in her focus, she tends to get a little wild and will stop listening to commands because she's become so enthralled with the toy. She is also a toy destroyer and will eat any toy she's left alone with. It may be best for Belle to have a partner in crime to run around with instead of playing with toys. While Belle tested well with other dogs, she can also be toy possessive and plays rather rough, which means that Belle may not be a good fit for any home with a dog.

Couch potatoes be warned, Belle is fine to play in any weather. From cold winter days to thick summer heat, Belle is always ready to go. A fan of PHS's kid(dog) swimming pool, Belle constantly splashes and loves to get wet, so if you're looking for a water dog, Belle may be your girl. With such a super smart girl, PHS truly believes Belle will make a great addition to any home.
