Hi there! My name is Belle. I'm a 4-year-old Shepherd mix with a big heart, a playful spirit and a soft spot for my people. I've been getting to show off my skills on doggie dates with volunteers and being an office buddy for my friends here at the shelter ... and let's just say, I'm kind of a star. <br/><br/>Here's a little bit about me:<br/><br/> I am PAWS Eligible - that means One Free Year of Vet Care!<br/> I've done well with other dogs in playgroups and enjoy making new friends<br/> I've been gentle and sweet with kids (I even give the softest little kisses!)<br/> Fetch is my FAVORITE - I could play all day if you let me<br/> I'm a smart girl who knows sit, lie down, shake, and I'm learning "stay"<br/> I love enrichment toys (the Kong Wobbler is my absolute jam!)<br/> I take treats gently and will never say no to a pup cup or some string cheese<br/> I enjoy exploring on walks and like to check in with my people along the way<br/> I'm very affectionate - I love leaning on you or sitting right on your feet<br/> I'm learning to ride nicely in cars (I can be a little unsure at first, but I settle in.)<br/> I've done great meeting new people and am eager to make friends<br/> I'm potty-aware and will let you know when I need to go out<br/> I'm a staff and volunteer favorite (and honestly, I don't know how I'm still here!)<br/><br/>I may greet you with a burst of enthusiasm (I just really love meeting new friends!), but I settle in quickly and show my sweet, affectionate side. Once I'm comfortable, I'm all about fun, love and being your loyal companion.<br/><br/>Come visit me today-I can't wait to be your new best friend!
