Bellatrix is a 4 year old European Great Dane who ended up at HT from a horrible abuse case. She's cautious around new people but with some gentle words (and treats!) she quickly learns that it's okay to trust people after all.
She LOVES other dogs and plays like a big puppy. She's new to the whole "living in a house thing" so will need work on proper home behavior and learning things like stairs.
Apply to adopt beautiful Bellatrix today!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering by visiting http://www.homewardtrails.org/foster-a-pet/dog-and-cat-foster-program/
