Hi there!<br/><br/>My name is Bellatrix, but I go by Bella. I'm a 2 year old mix of who knows what, whippet, Italian greyhound, hound...what do you think? I'm 25 lbs and have a super soft brindle coat. I am a HUGE cuddler and love nothing more than to be snuggled up in your arms. I get along well with other dogs and my previous home had cats in it and they told my foster parents I did just fine with them. I am potty trained, know how to sit, and walk well on a leash (just a little pulling). I was able to get the humans to take me for a run and I really enjoyed that. I go in a crate when the humans leave, I sometimes whine for a minute our two and then settle in for a nap. I also sleep in my crate at night, although I've told the humans I would LOVE to sleep with them. I like kids, but need help working on not jumping up on them when I meet them and get super excited. So a family with older kids might be a great fit for me.<br/><br/>I previously had some chronic ear infections that were very painful, but I've been on a salmon kibble diet for a few weeks and everything is clearing up! I will need to continue on this diet so that I don't get more ear infections. I also need some light sedation pills before going to the vet if they are going to give me shots or trim my nails (other than that I'm totally fine at the vet if it is just an exam!).
