The family that she loved left her at a shelter, shattering her heart, and making her believe that humans cannot be trusted to do the right thing. Sadly, that distrust has followed her, always lingering in the back of her mind. But Bella is young, resilient, and smart, and her trust is slowly returning, allowing her true personality to shine! <br/>Bella is medium-built, weighing 51 lbs. She adores her foster family and is thriving in a loving, stable environment. Quick and eager to learn, she would excel in obedience. She does not show interest in other dogs (at the vet, or on a walk), but would do best as the only dog in the house. She lived with a guinea pig in her first home without any issues; she has not been tested with cats.<br/>She loves her walks and fully expects to go with you should you get grab your coat! She rides great in the car, either as your copilot or in the backseat. Need to run to the bank? Shell help, but you better have a soft treat with you as this cookie snob prefers all soft treats to crunchy ones! She regularly gets the zoomies in the backyard to express her excitement at life. She prefers latex toys vs plush but if you play hide-and-seek with her plushy, shes all in. But her favorite thing to do is play ball. The harder the throw, the more determined she is to show off her athleticism. At the end of a hard day of play and squirrel-chasing, she will sack out on the couch, or on top of you if you allow. She is an expert snuggler who wants nothing more than to cuddle with someone who loves her, and it is hard not to fall in love with her sweet demeanor.<br/>She is not destructive, nor does she chew on things left out. She will bark at the mailman, or strangers, but quiets when reminded that its just the mailman. She would love to have a family with a fenced-in yard where she can continue to hone her ball-playing skills.<br/>Bella needs a patient adopter who understands that trust does not happen overnight.
