Bella (S25-180)'s Story
- Bonded to Taco

Meet Bella - A Tiny, Sweet Soul with a Big Personality
Bella is an 8-year-old Maltese weighing just 9 pounds, and this little lady is full of charm, sass, and love. Her biggest talent? Absolutely melting hearts wherever she goes.
Bella enjoys the simple pleasures in life-sunbathing in a warm spot, going for walks where she can cruise along and stop to smell the roses, and playing in short, happy bursts. When she's ready to relax, she's the ultimate couch potato and loves being close to her people.
She's incredibly people-oriented and thrives on companionship. Bella greets her humans with the most adorable little howl-often bringing along a "treasure" to share, which makes coming home to her extra special. She would love a home where her people are around more often than not.
Bella lives with both dogs and cats and does well, especially adoring her feline friend. She does have a bit of a bossy streak and isn't afraid to let her brother know when he's being a little too excited. When she's resting, she prefers her space and may get a little growly if another pup invades her bubble.
She has done wonderfully meeting new people and continues to show what a loving and social girl she is. Due to her small size, Bella would do best in a home without young children where she can feel safe and respected.
With her affectionate nature, adorable quirks, and loving heart, Bella is a truly special companion ready to bring warmth and joy into her forever home.
Could Bella be the perfect little love you've been looking for?
------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
