BellaMarie's Story

Adoptable dog alert, meet BellaMarie! She's a Poodle mix with delightful honey-tan coat. She's around 9-11 years old and just over 11 lbs. She's spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives.

About BellaMarie:
- Hearing limited
- Yard optional
- Dog, cat, & bird friendly

BellaMarie is a fluffy bundle of joy. She has bright big eyes, the better to love you with, and delightful floppy years. Like many seniors, her darling ears are mostly for show as she's nearly deaf. This clever girl has perfected several hoppy dances to communicate what she wants from you. She's excited to show you them!

BellaMarie is doing great with leash, house, and potty training. She knows to use potty pads in the house and she's happy to potty in the yard or on a leash.

Dancing queen BellaMarie is ready to hop her way into your heart and be your fur-ever family! She's doing great with leash, house, and potty training. Since she'll potty on a leash she doesn't require a fenced yard in her new home, though she'd certainly enjoy one for sunbathing and exploring. She's good with dogs of all sizes and is cat/bird friendly. Kids are unknown, due to her personality it's likely that she'd be fine with respectful children. Her adopters need to understand hearing impaired dogs or be willing to learn how best to support this happy hoppy, darling dancing girl!

Learn more about BellaMarie and submit an adoption application through our site: https://www.fawnssmalldogrescue.org/adoptable.../bellamarie

Reminders:
- Adoption radius: 150 miles from Jacksonville, FL, which includes parts of Georgia.
- Adoption donation amount is listed in each dog's website profile.
- All other pets in the home must be current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention!

Fawn's Small Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
If you are interested adopting please fill out our adoption application. Potential adopters must be 21 years or older. Adoption donations range from $175 to $500 and are based on the individual dogs and their age, needs, and medical expenses (paid out while in our care). ALL adoption donation fees go to our foster dogs and their veterinary care and needs. This empowers us to continue saving lives. Fawn's does a veterinarian and reference check. Your application will be denied if the animals you own are not properly vaccinated, neutered and spayed, and up to date on their heartworm and other preventative medications. We do our best to select the family and home that we feel is ideal based on the unique needs of each dog. Our adoption process includes a Home Visit which we complete as a part of the Meet and Greet. At the end of the Meet and Greet, those who pass the Home Visit have the opportunity to sign the adoption contract and begin their 7-day pre-adoption trial. This is to ensure that you have found the right fit for your family. Review our adoption process: https://www.fawnssmalldogrescue.org/adoption-process
