I am 2.5 yrs. old and weigh 19 lbs. I need a home with no young children. I am being fostered in St Peter, MN.<br/><br/>I am a runner so best I have a home with a yard. If given the opportunity I will run for fun.<br/>I have lived with young children however I am not a fan of their high energy, especially at night and have nipped when I got too uncomfortable so I would do best in a home with older or more respectful children. <br/>I would do fine with or without another dog.<br/><br/>I am a very curious girl. I loved to snuggle with my humans! I also love to chew on my bones and play with my toys. I am learning to walk on a leash, it's new so I like to pull but my foster is teaching me to slow down and take it easy, it's hard when I'm so excited to explore though! I do know "sit" and getting better at "shake" so I'm just starting to learn "stay". Luckily I'm highly food motivated so I'll learn quick! <br/><br/>I am a true love bug, so if you don't want to hold me on your lap or have me sleep next to you at night I might not be a good fit for you.<br/><br/>I know how to use a doggy door (or tell you I need to go outside by going to the door), sit and even come when you call my name. However, in the past I have darted out of the house when the door opened (although I have not done that with my foster family).<br/><br/>I ride well in the car, understand what a crate is but prefer to not be in one ... I am a very good girl when my foster mom is gone for a few hours and have free roam of the house. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced.
