Our family fell in love with her upon seeing her shelter photograph showing a “Bassador”. We were fortunate to get her soon after her rescue, and she became part of our family immediately. Her age was estimated to be 5 or 6, but in spite of her having birthed at least one litter, it was obvious by her behavior that she was just a puppy herself. Our veterinarian guessed that she was only 1 or 2, and we’re convinced of that. She is a joyful, active, vocal puppy who delights in playing with our two other bassets. She runs like the wind and is obviously happy to be off the streets and onto the laps of anyone who will welcome her – and we all do!
