Bella's Story

Meet Bailey & Bella

Sometimes, the best things come in pairs! Bailey and Bella are 6-year-old Golden Doodle littermates who are looking for a loving home together. Their family had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender them after their mom was hospitalized, and now these sweet siblings are hoping for a new family who will love them both.

Bailey and Bella are the sweetest, snuggliest bonded siblings and truly enjoy each other’s company. They are house trained, great with children, and have lived happily with kids ages 12, 7, and 7. They love nothing more than head scratches, cuddles, and their bedtime treat!

They do very well with their potty routine and are comfortable spending the day at home while their family is at work. Like many excited pups, they are working on keeping all four paws on the floor when their people return home from work or school. They are also discovering that treats make training pretty fun! They already respond well to “come” and are working on “sit” and “down.”

Bailey is a big boy at 82 pounds and is currently on a weight-loss plan. He has some significant weight to lose, so his new family will need to be committed to helping him reach a healthier weight through proper portions, exercise, and continued veterinary guidance. With a devoted family cheering him on, Bailey can work toward becoming his healthiest and happiest self. He's perfectly healthy and has had normal bloodwork completed, he's just been overfed!

Bella weighs 21 pounds and, just like her brother, is a loving, affectionate girl who adores being close to her people.

Bailey and Bella have spent their lives together and are bonded siblings who must be adopted as a pair. They are looking for a family willing to give them stability, love, patience, and plenty of snuggles.

If you are interested in this dog The first step is to go to our website and fill out an application. https://placingpawsrescue.org/applications/dog-application/

ADOPTION FEE: $450.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at placingpaws@yahoo.com. It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
