NOW BELLA BAY NEEDS HER FOREVER HOME.

When Bella Bay arrived at ACCT Philly, her future had already been decided. At 125 pounds, suffering from untreated hypothyroidism, painful skin disease, eye issues, and severe obesity, she was scheduled to be euthanized. Her medical records documented hypothyroidism, diffuse skin disease, pressure sores, difficulty standing, and a body condition score of 9/9 due to her weight.

But we couldn't let her story end there.

Today, Bella is a completely different dog.

She has lost 25 pounds through proper medical care, medication, and love. She feels better than she has in years. Her personality has truly blossomed.

Bella is a 100 pound gentle giant with the sweetest soul. She is incredibly affectionate, calm, and mild-mannered. She loves people, enjoys leisurely walks, rides beautifully in the car, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Shes even done well around infants as young as one year old.

She is still working on house training. She occasionally has accidents but will try to use puppy pads and does well going outside with a little encouragement. She is eager to please and continues making progress every day.

Because Bella has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, chronic skin disease, and tear gland issues, she is looking for a medical adopter who understands that she will need lifelong care. She takes daily medication and requires regular veterinary monitoring to keep her feeling her best.

Please don't let her medical needs scare you away.

Bella doesnt know shes special needs.

She just knows she loves soft beds, gentle pets, car rides, making new dog friends, and finally being comfortable after years of neglect.

She has already survived so much.

Now all she needs is someone willing to love her for the rest of her life.

If you've ever wanted to truly change a dogs world, Bella Bay is waiting for you.

Philly Rescue Angels Inc.
Kennel License #18024
PO Box 5299
Springfield, PA 19064
