Bella is a "big girl" with some happy weight to throw around, and she carries her robust bulldog frame with maximum charm.<br/><br/>At five and a half, Bella has settled into a wonderful, mature rhythm of life. She loves her humans deeply and is looking for a family that appreciates the classic bulldog lifestyle: short, leisurely strolls, plenty of belly rubs, and a comfortable spot on the couch to snooze the afternoon away.<br/><br/>What Bella’s Ideal Home Looks Like:<br/>The Social Scene & Feline Friends: Bella has a history of having cats as friends! However, because every animal reacts differently to change, we always recommend slow introductions to ensure everyone gets along harmoniously. We will also be properly assessing her with new dogs and cats to make sure her matches are set up for success.<br/><br/>Little Humans: Because Bella is a sturdy, substantial girl who doesn't always realize her own strength, small children might not be ideal for her, as she could easily bowl them over with enthusiasm. A home with older kids or adults would be the best fit.<br/><br/>Medical Note: Bella is fully up to date on her vaccines. Every adoption application is reviewed individually, taking into consideration the dog's needs, the applicant's lifestyle, experience, and ability to provide lifelong care. Our adoption process may include an application, reference checks, veterinary reference (when applicable), interviews, and a home visit or virtual home assessment. We believe there is no one-size-fits-all home, and we focus on making the best match for both the dog and the adopter. We provide full disclosure of each dog's known medical and behavioral history and remain available to offer guidance and support after adoption. If an adopter is ever unable to keep their adopted dog, the dog must be returned to Eddy's Nomads Dog Rescue rather than being rehomed elsewhere.
