Bella's Story

Bella

Lab/ Plott Hound | Female | 6Y | 51 lbs

In her kennel - https://youtube.com/shorts/1ydCaXMOeOE

Taking treats - https://youtube.com/shorts/VDlhjywmHQ8
:
Oh my gosh, when I tell you, Bella is cute that is an understatement. She has the cutest face and she's got the little gray hairs around her muzzle that make her look even cuter. Her coloring on her coat is gorgeous. She's sort of like a brindle colored. When I met her at her kennel, I was actually seeing another dog next to her however she kept watching me with sad puppy dog eyes so I had to take her out. There's actually a video of when I first saw her where she's whimpering a little bit because she wants to come out and placing her paw on the door of the kennel, as if to say for me to take her out. She's super calm in her kennel, though. Once I opened up her kennel and leashed her you could tell she was just so happy to go out and walk. She didn't pull on the leash. She did kind of guide me to where she wanted to go though and she just wanted to walk so that's what we did for a little bit . When we got to the run, she explored her surroundings. When she was done and she knew I had treats she stayed right by my side. This beautiful girl is said to be six years old and she is surprisingly heartworm negative and looks as if she's had litters in the past. I hope tomorrow she can start a new beginning and find her way to her forever family. Bella deserves this as she is a very sweet, gentle girl.
:

1/15/26 – Dog was laying on bed on approach. Was able to leash easily, and dog walked very slowly, but would walk with no issue. Very low to the ground. Did well outside in the run. No issue with leashing and returning to kennel.

Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.

You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.

Adopting an animal through L.O.L.A.'S Rescue means saving a life. We are concentrated on adopting animals at risk of euthanasia from High Kill Shelters and over population situations. We are dedicated to matching the right pet with the right home. The added advantage to being a foster concentrated organization is that we get to spend extra time with our animals to learn their special needs, we will always be 100% honest with you about the animal you are thinking of adopting, we will always try and match you with the pet that best fits your needs. Please understand that even though we do our best to asses every animal, changing situations can mean changing behaviors. The first step to adopting a animal is to let us know more about you and what you are looking for. Please visit our website at www.lolasrescue.com or email us at
