Bella & Albert's Story
Meet Albert and Bella! These two adorable little chihuahuas are a bonded pair looking for their forever home together.

Meet Albert and Bella, the tiniest bonded pair you ever did see!
Albert is a 1 year old Chihuahua weighing just 7 pounds, and Bella is a 3 year old Chihuahua who is an even tinier 5 pounds. Together, they make up a whopping 12 pounds... basically one small dog, right?!

These two were left together in the nighttime drop box at our partner shelter in New Mexico, so unfortunately, we don't know anything about their past or where they came from. What we do know is that they clearly came from the same home and that they are deeply bonded. The shelter even tried separating them for meals, but Albert and Bella made it very clear that they were not interested in eating without each other. They find a tremendous amount of comfort and security in one another, and after seeing how attached they are, there was simply no question that they would be staying together.

Both Albert and Bella can be a little shy when meeting new people, with Albert being the more shy of the two, but neither takes long to warm up. Give them a little patience, some affection, and a few tasty treats, and they'll be your friends in no time. Once they feel safe, these two are happiest having each other close by.

Albert and Bella are looking for a home where they can continue life together. They may be tiny, but they have a big bond, and we think their future family is going to get twice the love in one very compact package!

We know that adopting two dogs might sound like twice the work, but with Albert and Bella, we really think two can be easier than one! They already have each other for companionship, playtime, and comfort. They keep each other company when you're busy, and they come with twice the love!

These sweeties have a ticket to Colorado and are ready for a fresh start. They have already lost their home, and we are determined to make sure they don't have to lose each other, too.

Albert and Bella are looking for a loving home where they can stay together forever. If you've ever considered adopting two dogs, this might be the perfect pair to prove that two really can be easier than one!

Farfel's Rescue and our Arkansas rescue partners would love to see Albert and Bella in a home with someone who works from home or is retired. We'd hate to see them left alone all day while their family works full-time outside of the home, as they are much too social for that type of arrangement.

We feel that an excellent placement for Albert and Bella is in a home where they'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and of course, nothing but love. A virtual or in-person positive reinforcement training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence. Training is so important in the future behaviors of every dog. It's for this reason that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this loving training choice. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of both in-person and virtual positive reinforcement / force- free trainers in your area.

Albert and Bella are both up to date on their vaccinations, have been fully vetted, are in excellent health, heart worm negative, and have been spayed and neutered.

Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pair. If interested in these gorgeous, silly and very cuddly best friends, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit.

**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
