Bella's Story

YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS.

Bella is a beautiful, sweet-natured 48 pound Vizsla/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a love for the simple things in life—especially her daily walks. At 9 years young (born Nov 16, 2016), she still has a spring in her step and often surprises people with her energy and enthusiasm when she’s out exploring. She’s the perfect blend of calm companion at home and happy adventurer on leash.

Bella is incredibly affectionate and enjoys meeting new people—sometimes a little too enthusiastically! She thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around more consistently to share life with her.

Why Bella is Looking for a New Home

Bella’s owner is having to travel more frequently for work. While she has been well cared for by pet sitters, this change in schedule, combined with Bella’s need for consistency, means she would greatly benefit from a home with a more predictable routine and regular companionship.

Personality & Home Needs

-Friendly, loving, and loyal
-Moderately active – enjoys daily walks and sniffing adventures
-Needs to be the only pet in the home
-No small children
-Low-maintenance and easygoing overall
-Would benefit from a home with a consistent routine and companionship
-In her younger years, Bella was more social with other dogs, but in recent years she has shown that she prefers not to share her space—even with friendly dogs. Because of this, she will do best as the only pet in the home. For similar reasons, a home without small children is recommended so she can feel comfortable and relaxed.

Daily Routine

Bella is a creature of habit and does well with a predictable schedule:

-Morning potty and breakfast around 6:30–7:00 AM
-Relaxed daytime (lots of naps, especially in sunny spots )
-Evening walk (her favorite!) followed by dinner
-Final potty break before bedtime
-She’s also been known to “hold it” during the day if needed, showing great house manners.

Health & Care

-Spayed, up to date on vaccinations and in good overall health
-Maintains ideal weight at 47–48 lbs
-Monthly preventatives: NexGard & Sentinel Spectrum
-Recently had a great annual exam (March 2026)
-Bella loves food (a little too much!) and can be a bit of a counter surfer, so a home that can help manage that habit will be ideal.

The Perfect Home for Bella

Bella is looking for a calm, loving home where she can be your one-and-only companion. She doesn’t need a lot—just daily walks, a cozy place to nap, and a human who’s around enough to make her feel secure and loved.

If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing companion with a sweet heart and just the right amount of energy, Bella might be your perfect match.

Adoption donation $175
