Bella's Story
Bella is a loyal and loving female Shepherd/Cane Corso mix who is around 2 1/2 years old. She came to the shelter because her owner's health declined. She is great with other dogs, but we do not know how she is with small children. Bella is not good around cats. Bella is looking for an active home that can keep up with her and help her continue learning. She's an eager student with plenty of potential and would thrive with an adopter committed to training, structure, and enrichment. Like many intelligent, energetic dogs, she's still polishing her manners and will benefit from guidance as she grows into the best version of herself. Because she has a strong prey drive, she's best suited for a home without any small animals. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1 Visit our shelter! (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2 Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
