Bella's Story

Bella is a gem of a girl! Bella is a two year old spayed Corso who is a lovely rare chocolate color. This is not a acceptable Corso show dog color but who cares as she has the most delightful temperament you could ask for! Bella has a very mentally stable kind and affectionate nature. Bella is extremely intelligent with a high native curiosity and would love a home where she can learn and have lots of time with her human! She walks decent on a leash once reminded pulling is not a great plan. She has been hiking and running with her foster lady off leash and stays very close. Bella is house broken, decent house manors. She rides well in car, waits patiently at home without separation anxiety. Bella gets on with other dogs (after approaching boldly) but would do best in a home with another dog who is not a high attention need dominant dog to avoid a pecking order sqwabble but has capitulated as requested by other dominant dogs in foster.
Bella was turned into a high kill shelter by her owner after she was used for breeding, what looks like many litters of puppies. She does not act like she has been physically abused, she is actually quite trusting by nature. Bella has been soft and kind with children she has met in foster. Bella is a happy, goofy, affectionate, playful girl who wants her own human to partner with very badly. Bella's favorite things are sleeping at your feet alternating with going outside to chase squirrels and patrolling for rodents and squeaky toys! She loves to be around people, tossing her own stuffed toys, squeaky toys and really enjoys a soft bed to snore in (did I mention she Snores? lol) Bella is healthy and ready to learn and to be your very best loyal friend. She has not been tested with cats in foster but has ignored bunnies in cages at pet stores and learned to ignore foster home cockatoo parrots quickly. She is learning to be a farm dog and is OK with horses but barks through the fence mildly at horses.
This dog has such a exceptionally nice temperament to find in a rescue dog, please consider her as your new best friend. She needs a home where she will be a inside dog with lots of outside time too for play and exercise.

Adoption application and adoption fee required.
Fenced yard or rural home setting required.
Home visit required, no exceptions. No shipping so only available in the Pacific Northwest. No rentals or apartments due to breed. Adopter must be familiar with the breed, have dominant protective breed experience and understand being a fair and kind leader. Bella is amazing with people and would love a home with time to spend with her and utilize her smart mind!
Please email me a bit about your home and what you hope to have or need in a rescued dog.
juli.nelson@gmailcom (No E on juli in the email)
Text OK but please do email me about your home. 206.423.8909
