Bella's Story

Attention lovers of fluffy, frowsy dogs! This sweet little lady is in need of a loving forever home. Bella was surrendered to our rescue when her owner had to move into a nursing facility. She is now receiving lots of TLC in foster care until she finds just the right place continue to be loved during her golden years.

Bella is 8-9 years old and weighs in at 31 pounds. She is a cocker spaniel mix – and cute as can be! Typical of her breed, Bella has dry eyes requiring daily drops and skin allergies for which she also needs medication. Her new family should be experienced and willing to commit to her comfort and well being. She is house, crate and leash trained. This cutie adores attention, but tends to be a bit shy when meeting new people. Once she knows you and feels safe, she’ll become your Velcro dog. She loves to snuggle on the couch and will remind you to give her plenty of pets and attention, should you forget. She also enjoys playing outside.

We think Bella would be happiest in a home where she’s the only dog. She gets along okay with other dogs, but she can become possessive of her human and would much prefer to have all the attention to herself. She was curious about the cat at first, then paid no attention. A low functioning autistic teenager lives in her foster home and she ignores him. She has not been observed around young children so we think a home with older kids or adults would be best....one where someone is generally home during the day.

Bella is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. She’s ready and waiting to head for her forever home. If you have the time and resources to give this darling girl the happily ever after she deserves, please email Nancy at campellones58@gmail.com for an application. Her adoption fee is $300.
