Hi, my name is Bella. I'm an amazing girl, who loves playing with balls, is estimated to be about 2 years old, and weighs about 55 pounds. I can be shy at first when meeting new people, but I will warm up quickly with slow introductions. I was surrendered by my owner, because I was chasing wildlife, cars, and neighbors that came on the 10-acre property, which wasn't fenced. I also suffer from separation anxiety. Therefore, I will do best with a family with someone home most of the time, who and can help me learn to be safely confined in a crate when I'm left alone. I also need a secure yard with a fence. I am really a friendly gal that just needs lots of attention and love. Here at the shelter, I have gotten along with some dogs but can be selective with others. So, I should meet any other dogs in my next home prior to adoption. Mostly, I prefer going on long walks with my person. If that works for you, please come check me out. My adoption fee is $150, plus $25 for an annual dog license, if you live in Jackson County. For more information or to set up an appointment to meet me, please call the Jackson County Animal Shelter at 541-774-6654.
