Meet Bella
Meet Bella! She is about seven years old, 26 pounds, and looks like she has some Shih-Tzu in her mix although her paperwork says Beagle. Bella came to us after her owner passed away. In her foster home, Bella is showing that she is house and crate trained and walks great on leash (and enjoys her walks!). These are new skills as her previous owner did not take her out and used pee pads. She loves to play with toys and even knows the names of toys. She is very intelligent. Bella's ideal home would be with no other dogs, but cats are fine. She would enjoy being with people who are home all day and no kids.
Her foster says: "Before being rescued, Bella didn't have a lot of experiences. Her owner was elderly and trained her to use pee pads and fed her a lot of people food. She has come a very long way! Bella could live in any home type. She is quiet and entertains herself easily. She walks great on leash and seems to really enjoy her walks. "
She is available for direct adoption with an approved adopter in N. Dartmouth on September 17th. Please fill out an application on our website as a first step.
- Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, financial, and emotional responsibilities of a puppy/dog BEFORE applying to adopt.
- Puppies/dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.
- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fee can be found at browndogcoalition.com
