Bella's Story
(2 years old, 75lbs)

Personality: energetic, affectionate, gentle, adaptable, smart, and loyal.

Don't blink or you might miss beautiful, bounding Bella! This energetic pup can be found zooming alongside her fosters or sprinting after a toy in the backyard almost any day of the week. Bella is also an awesome walking and running partner.

As lively as she is, Bella is a big softy when it comes to kids. The teens and younger child in her foster family have enjoyed brushing and cuddling with Bella.

Bella wants to be where the people are, and she's not afraid to show it, even with strangers. (She'll happily jump right up to new friends and ask for pets.) She does understand when you can't play or engage and will instead sleep soundly by your side.

Not all brawn, Bella has brains, too! "Sit," "hands," "house," "wait," and "stay" are all in her vocabulary. Bella has made lots of progress with house training when people are at home with her, but she needs to build up her confidence when it comes time to be home alone. For now she would do best with an adopter who works from home.

If you're looking for a big girl who wants to play with you, apply today to meet Bella!

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC.
