Bella's Story

Meet Bella, an incredibly sweet 12–14-year-old mini poodle with a heart full of love and a big desire to be someone’s constant companion. She’s the perfect little sidekick and would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where she can spend most of her day close to her person.

Bella loves being by your side — curled up next to you, following you from room to room, or riding shotgun in the car (and yes, she’d happily be a lap rider if you let her). She bonds deeply, loves wholeheartedly, and trusts her people completely.
She would do best in a quieter household with someone who enjoys having a dog nearby most of the time. While she’s mellow and content snoozing beside you, she still has plenty of pep for her age — she enjoys short walks, gets excited to play with her toys (especially when you get home), and has sweet little bursts of energy that will make you smile.

Bella does great with kids and gets along well with other dogs. We are unsure about cats, but with her gentle, easygoing personality, we don’t anticipate issues. Because she’s a poodle, she will need regular grooming so keep that in mind.

She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and recently had a dental where many of her unhealthy teeth were removed — she now has one tooth left, but it doesn’t slow her down or dim her bright little spirit. She also had a mass removed from her bum, which came back benign. It may return in the future, but given her age, as long as it doesn’t affect her bowel movements or mobility, it’s best to simply monitor it.

Bella is currently being fostered in South Weber.
